I have always loved this song and all versions of it but Robert Downey Jr. singing it from Ally McBeal is probably my favorite. Couldn't find the whole song online but have it on my ipod and this time of year I play it over and over.

I never heard this version, only the Joni Mitchell one, but I love it. RDJ has traveled a few miles of bad road but he seems to keep on going. But this song fits the melancholy I find myself fighting this time of year. One I have to tend to very carefully, especially with the job I have now. Last night was one of those nights when there were APBs out for suicidal people, two different organ transplant crews on the road from two fatalities, and you wish your brain had a reset button.
I love this song too. And I love Robert Downey Jr.
