Tonight I am going to the county fair - so today's Thursday Thirteen includes things I will likely see at the fair:
- Lots of critters - horses, goats, sheep, cows, chickens, you name it, it's there.
- Lots of plumbers crack - ewwwww
- Cheap stuffed animals you can win for only $20!
- Toothless carney's leering.
- Fat hairy men in wife beater tanks (thanks Shieldmaiden for that image).
- BIG tractors.
- Fried Dough - and might eat one too.
- Weird Circus Folk.
- People eating all manner of disgustingly fattening and gross fried things (fried dough is not disgusting though).
- About 10 different vendors who want to sell me a hot tub.
- Bad singing at the beer tent.
- Bright lights - the fair looks so much better after dark.
- And last but not least - toothless people - lots of them!

Mmmm! Fair food! I like to start with a turkey leg or some BBQ, and then move on to caramel apples, funnel cakes, cotton candy, frozen lemonade, and basically anything else I can get my hands on.
Whoo! I'm going again tonight because I have ambulance standby at the MONSTER TRUCK SHOW. Whoo freaaking hoodley-hoo.
It's pouring down rain now so I may not go - but we'll see it's still about an hour before I will be close enough to have to decide. :) Hubby wants me to come - he's working the booth for his employer and will get off at 7pm and want to eat crap.
At our fair I like to get giant corn dogs and curley fries and fried dough. But tonight I will probably only have the fried dough.
Ooooh, it sounds so fun! I hope it stops raining!
Please eat a funnel cake, a candied apple, and a fried snickers for me.
Then go straight to the first trashcan and throw up.
I ate a taco salad and a fried dough. Watched some rodeo. Got rained on. Petted draft horses named Bob, Jim, John and Willie! LOL Ran into some guys I showed with 20 years ago - we are all old now. It was good.
